All sizes listed for polymer clay cutters are approximate and given in millimetres. Minor variation is normal and part of the handcrafted nature of 3D printed cutters.

Rinse your cutter with warm water after use and allow to air dry completely before storing. Avoid acetone, harsh solvents, or prolonged heat exposure as these can affect the material over time. Store flat or upright in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

About This Design

Where tradition meets the studio

Damar Damla polymer clay cutter builds a teardrop of overlapping scale-like petals, rows of them layered from the pointed top down to the rounded base. It cuts and embosses in one press, laying outline and every scale down together.

Stacked scale over scale, this is a hatayi, the layered composite form of Ottoman illumination, while its pinecone feel carries the older Seljuk and Central Asian symbol of abundance and the tree of life, damar damla, the vein drop, naming the fine lines that run through each petal like veins in a falling teardrop.

Press it into earrings, pendants or decorative tiles wherever a full, tapering motif suits the piece. Pair it with Gül Daire for a coordinating set, and each Damar Damla polymer clay cutter gives a clean, defined impression that holds its scales through baking.
